Land Design
Get the most out of your land and available water with expertly created landforming designs for use with your PTx Trimble systems and scraper equipment.
We aren’t just suppliers of precision land management technology, we are also specialists in it. Using high-performance landforming software from PTx, including the WM-Form solution, our design team is able to streamline landforming time and costs, whilst optimising your farmable area.
We aim to reduce the costs of earthworks and provide accurate designs which can easily integrate with your PTx Trimble display, and WM-Field Form or FieldLevel II system.
Our Process
STEP 1.
Survey
Using the GFX-1260 display and the Vertical Point RTK correction service for sub 25mm vertical accuracy, precisely map your fields; create boundaries, interior points, and surfaces with ease; and calculate and report on the true acreage of your survey area for optimal field coverage and accurate surface designs.
STEP 2.
Design
Using your topographical survey and advanced landforming software, our experienced designers will produce a number of landform optimisation options giving you the ability to choose a design that balances your drainage requirements and budgets.
When compared to planar laser levelling, our service can save up to 80% on earthworks costs. Our designs are focused on optimising works and maximising the water across the field to improve crop yields.
STEP 3.
Earthworks
Once we have created the design, a control file is uploaded to the Field Level II system installed on your grading equipment. As you move across the field the system will automatically control the hydraulic valves on any type of bucket or scraper for accurate land forming.
