How it Works
Weed Detection Source
WeedSeeker® 2 uses a dual frequency light source: red and near-infrared (NIR) light to detect chlorophyll in living plants. Red light is absorbed by the chlorophyll in weeds, while NIR is reflected. The system identifies weeds by measuring changes in light reflectance, allowing for accurate detection in real time.
Operating System
No new display required. WeedSeeker® 2 works with any ISOBUS-compatible display you already own. Its simple, intuitive interface makes it easy for operators of any skill level to monitor herbicide usage and log coverage maps.
Auto Calibration
The WeedSeeker® 2 sensors continuously calibrate themselves to adapt to changing conditions, including soil background, ambient light and temperature. This ensures consistent, accurate performance with minimal manual input.
Turn Compensation
When cornering, WeedSeeker® 2 automatically adjusts spray timing to compensate for speed-related variations, ensuring no weeds are missed regardless of the path you take.
